PURPOSES of THE DELTA KAPPA GAMMA SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL
1. To unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship.
2. To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education.
3. To advance the professional interest and position of women in education.
4. To initiate, endorse, and support desirable legislation or other suitable endeavors in the interest of education and of women educators.

Overview
In response to the request from International and AZ State to develop a S.A.P. for Epsilon Chapter, an ad hoc committee was formed and met on 7/22/13. This committee consisted of Pam Raynor, Connie Fadden, Angela Sepe, Pat Yardley, Maureen McGrath and Barbara Henderson.
Planning Process
The Epsilon Chapter SAP provides for a continuous review and monitoring of the progress of identified programs and projects that implement the seven purposes and the mission of the Society. The status of all major areas of focus, objectives and activities are to be reviewed regularly at meetings of the SAP committee. Areas will be reviewed and updated for status as starting, ongoing, accomplished, deleted, TBD, etc. the latest review date will be noted. (The committee will determine the status labels.)

1. Society Impact on Education
